Our templates provide you a starting point in designing your project. Most are highly flexible in permitting you to change them as you please. If you like a particular background but don’t care for some of the images or content, you can remove those with a click and the press of a button. You can then move, add, and resize your images as you wish.
I Wish I Could . . . REMOVE an image, type (frame), or photo frame from a page. Yes, you can.
Click on the image, type frame, or photo that you want to remove and press the ‘Delete’ button and it will leave only the background.
I Wish I Could . . . ADD an image, photo, or type onto a page. Yes, you can.
Click on an image or photo and drag it onto the page. Resize by clicking and dragging the blue frame outline.
Click on the “T” (Add a text frame) icon located on the left side of designer to get a text frame at the top left corner of your page. Double-click on the text frame to get a pop-up to add your text. Click the center of the text frame and drag it to its position on the page.
I Wish I Could . . . Add my own BACKGROUND to a page or over two side-by-side pages. Yes, you can.
Click on your high resolution photo/image and drag it to the upper left corner of the page. If you see any ‘oval shape with !!!’ at the top right of your image, it is a warning that the image is of very low DPI and will result in poor print quality and should not be used for this purpose. Watch for the red dotted (trim) outline frame and position the photo/image to be beyond the outside of this red dotted (trim) outline frame. Click on the bottom right corner of the blue frame outline and drag it to the opposite corner beyond the red dotted (trim) outline frame. Now your photo/image is the background.
